Memories Held Close
Celebrating Your Loved One
Saying goodbye to someone you love is one of the most significant moments your family will ever share. It’s an occasion that should be met with all the love, respect, and honesty in the world. It should be a true, warm reflection of the person you knew and love.
I focus on crafting Celebrations of Life and memorial ceremonies that feel like home. Because in moments of grief, that "at home" feeling is exactly what we need; a safe space where you can feel comfortable and comforted, feel completely supported, and remember your loved one exactly as they were.
My Ceremonies
What's
Included.
Ways We Can Celebrate.
Every life is a unique collection of stories that shape us and make us who we are. The ceremony can do justice to that. The feeling can be, for example:
- Stories & Music-centred: Focused on the songs they loved, the laughs, and the memories that bring comfort.
- Traditional with a bit of a Twist: A familiar, respectful structure but infused with their unique personality, hobbies, or humour.
- An Intimate Memorial: Quiet, small gatherings where your innermost circle can come together to share a brew, raise a glass, and remember them peacefully.
For Your Day
Why Choose Me as Your Celebrant
Here is what you can expect when you work with me:
-
I’m easy to work with
There’s no ego here! I’m down to earth, positive, happy to be here and happy to be of service. I do what I say I’m going to do, when I say I’ll do it, so you never have to spend a second worrying about me.
-
I’m on the ball
With my background in live radio and events, I don’t bat an eyelid when plans change. Whether someone’s taken poorly or we’re hit with a sudden downpour, the show will go on without missing a beat.
-
You matter
You aren't just another booking on my calendar. I take the time to get to know you, remembering the little details that make your story yours. I won’t settle for anything less than you being absolutely delighted with your ceremony.
REACTIONS TO MY CEREMONIES
Kind Words
During my celebrant studies, I was mentored by the amazing Tara Heath-Arnold who has been a celebrant for many years. She held the bar very high, so I was delighted to read these comments from her about my ceremony writing and performance:
"Caroline puts so much love and care into every ceremony she creates. Your energy and warmth shine through every part. You handle the important moments with ease and genuine feeling, bringing comfort and joy to everyone involved."
"Your scripts are some of the most beautifully written I've seen. You weave in personal touches, meaningful rituals, and heartfelt words that reflect the journey perfectly. You build trust and make people feel completely supported."
Where I
Travel.
I’m based in Staining, near Blackpool, so I’m ideally placed for ceremonies across Lancashire, the South Lakes, and over the Yorkshire border. Whether it’s a local crematorium, a peaceful outdoor memorial spot on the Fylde Coast, or a quiet gathering in the Ribble Valley, I can get to you easily.
If you are planning a memorial further afield, don’t hesitate to ask, I’m happy to travel.
